What is Stampin up replacing the Big Shot with?
Stampin’ Up! will be replacing the Big Shot with a new Die Cutting system. This is exciting news, as it means that Stampin’ Up! will be working directly with the manufacturer to bring all of us a new die cutting / embossing machine and that we will have more direct control over the design AND availability of products!
Can you use Anna Griffin dies with the sizzix big shot?
Answer: Yes. You can use the Anna Griffin dies on the Sizzix. Use it exactly in the sandwich that Anna describes in her instructions but use it with ‘no tabs’.
Can Gemini dies be used in sizzix big shot?
Yes you can . The big shot comes with different cutting platforms so it will cut thin metal dies right up to big steel dies. Whereas The Gemini machine will only cut thin dies.

In a move likely in the works for months, Stampin’ Up has announced that they are discontinuing the Sizzix Big Shot and also are replacing Sizzix as the manufacturer for their dies. Stampin’ Up’s new dies will be a slightly different die style than the previous ones.

What can a sizzix big kick do?
A Sizzix Big Shot is a manual Die Cutting and Embossing Machine that is used to cut perfect shapes or emboss textured designs on papers, cardstock, foam, fabric, etc. It has a hand crank to roll the dies and embossing tools through.

Can Spellbinder dies be used with sizzix?
The Sizzix® Adapter does allow the cutting of Spellbinders™ dies with the Sidekick™ & Tag-a-Long™, but this is limited to most Spellbinders™ Fonts or Mystery Dies, due to the limiting size of the Sizzix® Adapter. The Sidekick™ & Tag-a-Long™ do not allow for the embossing of Spellbinders™ dies.
