Creative Assembly wanted Alien: Isolation to have a story that was closely related to the film. As a result, the team decided to explore a story set 15 years after the events of the film which would involve Ellen Ripley’s daughter and the Nostromo’s flight recorder.

The same team that developed Alien: Isolation is developing the game, but how far into development the game is, what platforms it will come to, or when it might release are currently unknown.

Alien is my favorite movie and it pleases me that Alien Isolation is my favorite game. But it’s not for kids. It isn’t excessively violent of profane. There is no sex or nudity, no alcohol abuse, maybe there is some smoking but I can’t really remember.
